Hi Beth,

Was so glad to hear from you. You are the first one to answere my query and I hope that we can help. I have a little on the Parberry families of which I have accumulated over time.

You are probably wondering a little bit about me. My mother is Marilyn Cooley who married Mervyn Gompert. (Is the one you have a picture of ?) Her mother was Eva Parberry Cooley who married Howard Cooley. If I am not mistaken, Eva was a sister to your Harold W.. They also had 2 other brothers and an infant sister who died in infancy.

I am farming in Western Nebraska in an area between Mitchell and Morrill, Nebraska. This is where the Cooley and Parberry families all lived at one time.

For many years I have dabbled in the genealogy of my ancestors. We have a cousin that lives in Colorado that might have done more searching than what I have. His name is Robert or Bob Parberry. His parents were Gene and Esther Parberry.

I would be glad to visit and my Email address is

I'll be looking forward in hearing from you.

Michael Gompert
