Looking for information on family of Sumner William DARNELL b. IL who in 1867 homesteaded on the north fork of the Blue River. He md. Rachel Ann ZIMMERMAN and they had nine ch. Martha, Sumner, Charles, Harry, Frederick, Eddie, Judd, Myrtle, Maud. Farmed in NE. Pvt in Civil War.
