Seeking any info on background of Matthew MARTIN, born 1840/'41 in CANADA , migrated to Divide Twp. , and died at Kearney 17 Nov., 1888.
His wife was Mariah/"Mari" SPOONER born 1844 CANADA . She died about 1906, probably at Little Rock or Benton, AR. following nervous breakdowns over sudden death of her three oldest children about 1880/1881 - shown on 1880
Census as Eda ; Addie ; and Charles MARTIN .
Another child was Minnie Laura MARTIN , born 4 July, 1880 at Kearney ; she later married 15 Sept, 1897, at Mayflower, AR., Robert Elee COOK , and they had nine children - probably resided at Star City , AR.
