In looking at other pages on the 1910 census to see what form the census taker used to designate widow/widower...he used WD..I enlarged the actual image on Elvira and it is clearly a 'D' so it appears she might have been divorced..and it had been transcribed as divorced... I did notice that a "One World Tree" has her married to Gustav AARHUS... and later to Paul Quinn but they are known to be wrong a lot of the time. SD marriage Name: Elmira Compton Age: 21 Gender: Female Spouse: Gustav C Aarhus Marriage Date: 15 Oct 1907 Marriage County: Gregory County of Residence: Boyd Post Office: Oper I was not able to locate Quinn, Elvira or Maynard after the 1910 census although I was able to locate her parents. I did see some 'tree' info that an Annie Quinn married a John Stivers Knight, the son of John Stivers Knight SR...might she be a relative of Paul Quinn? you probably know all this already... I am not related... Regards, Connie Notify Administrator about this message?
