Josiah Hurns was born in Canada in 1849 resided Lake Pct., Phelps Co. at 1880 census and in Hall County at 1894 when his daughter Eva married a Wilcox. Josiah's wife was Emily and born Michigan. The Wilcox family lived also in Adams County at one time. Is Josiah buried in Adams County? I am searching for a death date to send for a death certificate hoping to learn parents name. If anyone finds, knows of other family information concerning this family and their time in Adams County, I would appreciate it. The surname may have many variant spellings while in Nebraska--our line uses "Herns". Thanks!
