Willard COLE born est 1793 <Windsor, Berkshire, MA > died abt 1857 of Colebrook, Ashtabula co, Ohio was the oldest of Gilbert COLE's (my gr-grandfather's) three brother's- sons of Jonathan COLE and Mary Ann BREWER. Willard COLE married 15 Sep 1830 in Gorham, Ontario, NY Lucy HURD (dau of Gideon & Betsey HURD)-moved to Ashtabula co, OH in 1830 and son Spencer W. COLE was born there.

Spencer W. COLE born Jul 1837 <of Colebrook, Ashtabula co >, OH, (son of Willard COLE and Lucy HURD) married abt Aug 1870 <of Colebrook, Ashtabula co>, OH Mary A BULLOCK. In 1870 and 1880 they lived in Corry, Erie co, PA where they had two children: Elbert Amos COLE born 26 Jul 1876 and Bertha Lenore COLE born abt May 1882. Sometime after 1882 they moved to Wells co, ND. I'd like to find when and where they died.
Their son Elbert Amos COLE married abt 1911 Augusta M BOEHLKE. They must have lived in Saskatchewan, Canada when their son, Lenord Spencer COLE was born there 2 Aug 1912. Lenord S. COLE probably married in Dallas, TX where his parents died.
I believe their daughter, Bertha Lenore COLE was a teacher in 1910 (source: 1910 census Apr 22 Bilodeau twp, Wells, ND pg 25B
