Looking for any descendants of John and Andrew Hammer, two brothers who settled in Torning Township, ND (just outside Minot)in Ward County. Andrew was married to Anne Larson and they had 7 children, four of whom were: Louis born 1875, Anna Mary born 1879, Louise Josephine born 1881 and Clara Martha born 1889.
John was married to Malena Ness and they had seven children: Martin, Christine, Nels, Emil, Alfred, Oscar and Olavs.
Some surnames of spouses (for the families who remained in the Minot area) were: Holen, Hayden, Yarosz, Kelly, Ness, Eidahl, Lotsberg, Erdahl and of course HAMMER.
