1940 is the last available census at this time.
1940 census does not show "birthdates" only ages.
1900 census is the only census to show DOB's and it is in the form - mm/yyyy.
Each person must age either 9 or 10 years from census to census. Anything different and the person is either guessing or lying about his/her age.
Each census has its' own calendar year. It does not follow the traditional Jan 1 thru Dec. 31. At the top of each it is stated the beginning of the census year.
The 1940 census calendar year begins on April 1, 1940. So if a person's birthdate falls before April 1st; he/she will have aged 10 yrs.
