Thanks for the reply. After further 'Googling' I think the Hotel name to be Sevilla and have found a picture.
His name was George Hope Young and on his WW1 Draft he was a Mechanic for the GN Railroad.
I was puzzled by this address as although I never met him (he left a wife and 3 children in England) I had always assumed he spent his life in Vancouver and Alberta Canada, so this USA link is something new. I am now wondering if it was usual for someone living in Canada to move without family to North Dakota and am hoping for some further surprises.
Perhaps someone's ancestor worked with him . This part of his life will be a brick wall I think
