Hi
I think I may have a connection to this family.
My 4xgreat grandfather was Alexander Crabb, who was born in Dundee, Angus, Scotland, in 1768. Alexander was the son of Thomas Crabb and Jean MacKay, who also had a daughter called Jean Crabb, born Dundee in 1771.
Jean Crabb married Thomas Deas, and they had a daughter, born in Dundee in 1806, by the name of Crawford Pullar Deas.
When Alexander died in 1827, he left a Will of which I have a copy, and in his Will he left £50 to his niece, Crawford Pullar Deas.
The only instances of a Crawford Pullar in the IGI were from Dundee ... so it seems too much of a coincidence for the Crawford Pullar in your tree, and the Crawford Pullar Deas in my tree, not to have been related in some way.
I would be interested to hear if you have made any further progress with this family!!
Best wishes, Jennie
