Looking for parents and siblings of Mary Schmidt, born June 21,1863 in Germany.
The majority of the following post is information from the obituaries for Mary and Chris.
Father (might be) John. The family came to USA <1877> when Mary was just 14 yrs. old.
When she was 18 yrs. she moved to Red Oak, Iowa. There <1881 / 1882> she married Chris C. Weber Sr. they later moved to Lincoln, Nebraska and then to a farm near Scotland, South Dakota.
About 1911, they moved to Napoleon, North Dakota, living there for ten years before returning to South Dakota <1921> to operate a boarding house at Chamberlain.
Known Children of Chris C. Sr. and Mary (Schmidt) Weber are; Clara, Clarence, Fred, George, John (in some text was written as Sean), Mary, Chris Jr., Elizabeth Lillian, Kathryn, Edward.
Sisters to Mary (Schmidt) Weber are named in her obituary as follows; Mrs. Sarah Weibeck of Napoleon, North Dakota and Mrs. Kathryn Saylor of California.
