I am looking for information on this Phillips family. My husband's 3rd great grandmother was Mary Phillips. She married Isaac Whiteside 28 Oct 1847 in St. Clair County, Illinois. I have seen a few reports that Mary was the daughter of William Phillips (b. 1782 in NC) and Elizabeth Moredock (b. 1784 in VA). I have also seen reports that their children were:
Daniel
John Garrison (d. 1802)
Charles S.
David
Mary (my Mary)

I read a report online that has the interview of John Garrison Phillips (b. 1850) about John Garrison but no siblings were mentioned that I could tell (I have just skimmed over it at this point).

Does anyone have any information on who William Phillips (b. 1782) married? Children? I also have seen where this William died 20 Mar 1861 in St. Clair County, IL

Thanks for any and all help!

Juls
