I saw you post on genForum about the Randolphs. I've been trying to find some information about my g-g- grandmother Elizabeth Randolph married Henderson Tipton. I believe Elizabeth was also the daughter of James Randolph and Sarah Sams. None of the family trees are showing Elizabeth as a daughter of James and Sarah but in the 1850 yancey co. nc census John & Sarah Thornburg and the Randolph children of Sarah were listed just above Henderson& Elizabeth Tipton. In the 1860 Washington Co, TN census they were all living there. I may be on the wrong track about all this. I hope there's someone out there that has some information for me.Eliza Tipton, daughter of Henderson& Elizabeth Randolph Tipton was my g-grandmother. Thanks
