My father took me to meet Uncle Oscar in the 1970's. He was raised by my grandmother Lula Boone. Lula was disowned for marrying George Riddle. Story is that she fell in love with his singing. Funny, as my father sang as do my siblings (including myself). Can't sing well, but enjoy it just the same. I just located his grave site. Lula is buried up off Green Mtn rd behind a family residence and garage. My aunt Dixie and Aunt Bonnie have been a wealth of information. I was told many family stories over the years. I am first generation out of Burnsville! Please feel free to contact me. Debbie Riddle
