Looking for the parents of David D. Miller
Posted by: Donna Sweeney (ID *****6389) Date: March 28, 2003 at 17:14:54

I am looking for the parents of my great grandfather, David D. Miller born on January 4,1880. I know he lived in the Yancey County area in 1910, so there is a chance his parents were from there also. I just recieve his death certificate and it did not list his Father's name, but had his mother as Sara Miller (I assume that was not her maiden name).I have always heard my great, great grandmother was a native american, so Sara Miller might be cherokee or Blackfoot indian

David D. Miller married Lovasca Bradford from Yancey county. Lovasca's parents were listed as Sarah Woodby and Noah Bradford, but I suspect Noah is not the correct name.

They had the following children: Loretta, Floyd, Bessie, John, Mable, Buford, & Evelyn.

Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
