Sandra - I do not know if you have been following the messages between Dianne (Dee) Hightower, Michael and me regarding Harwell in Rutherford County, NC. If not, from the data Dee sent me, it appears she is the GGGranddautheer of Andrew Milton Hunter and Martha Howell. Your date of their marriage coincides with the date shown for their marriage on my brother's Elijah Hunter Family Group Sheet. The source is cited as "Clifford Hunter's Marriage List".

Elijah Hunter and Jane Harwell had nine children: Elizabeth, Mary E., William, James Jamison, John Wesley, Mary L., Drury Virgil, Huldah A., and Andrew Milton. IGI LDS is cited as the source of the names and the birthdates, except for the birthdates of Mary E., James Jamison and Huldah A. which are cited as the source being my cousin DeWitt Harrold.

John Wesley, the fifth born, is my GGrandfater which seems to make Dianne Hightower and me cousins. I have yet to hear from Dee on this matter.

You seem to have done much research on the descendents of Elijah and Jane. Is there a connection?

A note on Elijah's Family Group Sheet says Martha Howell's father was William Howell from Mitchell County, NC and her mother was Nancy Griffith from Yancey County.

I would be interested in hearing your comments on the above information.

Regards - Robert
