I too located him on the SSDI and have sent off for his ss-5 application. It has been almost four months and I haven't received it yet. I'm hoping the name of his parents will match so I'll know if he is the right one. On the 1880 census, is he listed under the houehold of Jasper and Lydia Hensley? Also, does it give any other name or initial with his name? I appreciate all your help.
