Is there anyone on the Yancey County board that has any information about Harrells in NC. They may have spelled their name Harrel.
In particular, a Jesse Harrell who was born between 1800 and 1804. He married a woman named Rosannah Rushing who is a descendent of Matthew Malachi Rushing. I've been told that she came from NC and from SC and can not verify either.
Any help and any direction that anyone can give me would be appreciative.
