Nathaniel Gouge married Nancy Cooper Honeycutt on March 29, 1891 in Yancey Co. They were married at the home of Alexander Bennett. Their marriage was witnessed by Alex Bennett and Becky Bennett and Laura Honeycutt. Can anyone tell me about the Bennetts and Laura Honeycutt? Were these Bennetts kin to the Baxter Bennett who is said to have murdered Nat Gouge and his son William?
