Beth,

I am not sure in Yancey Co. which library to research in. There is a national archives library in Raliegh-Durham. I live in Pennsylvania, but am from Erwin, TN. In three weeks I am making a trip to Erwin.

I just have a few reference books right now.
The information I gave you will help you locate your families on the census. I will send the information from the 1900 census later today.
