John Robins, Sr abt. 1775 in Wilkes Cty., NC
Posted by: Jimmie Lee ROBINS (ID *****4796) Date: November 26, 2011 at 08:50:46
  of 1643

I am seeking any information on my gggg-grandparents; John ROBINS/ROBBINS, Sr., born c.1720, in Gloucester Cty., Virginia, died before August 1792, in Wilkes Cty., North Carolina and Margaret STROTHER (?), born c. 1725, died c. 1786, they were married about 1743 in Virginia.

They came to Surry / Wilkes Cty., NC abt 1775. John and his son's John, Jr., Capt. Thomas, Reuben and William owned a number of plantations around Mulberry Creek [1777 land records] show them owning a number of plantations.

Looking for any records; military, births, deaths, etc.
