In Reply to: Questions Regarding Wilkes County Johnson Family by Jerry Johnson of 1351

Folks I recently responded to Jerry via direct e-mail. I am also a descendant of Robert Johnson and Celia Bourne. I suspect I have slighly more information about folks coming forward from these families than he does, but that is just a suspicion. His collection of data PRIOR to Robert Johnson of Wilkes County is better than anything I've seen to date, including Mr. Verl Weight and many older researchers. I'm busy studying and will be back also. I'm hopeful Jerry will publish more of his data here as well.
The trails grow cold and warm again. The secret is never to give up the hunt!
