Wilkes County marriages have been abstracted. The book, Wilkes County Marriages, is by George F McNeil and Joyce D McNeil of Wilkesboro, NC. Book 1 covers the years 1874-1904. Book 3 covers Aug 1911 - 1919 so it's safe to assume Book 2 covers the years between 1904 and 1911. I don't remember if there are more volumes.
I would suggest you contact Wilkes Community College to see if they have the set and can look up the marriage for you. The primary sort is by groom's name, but there also is a bride's index.
