Samuel Benjamin Harris – born 1848, Wilkes County, North Carolina, married Laura Adelaid Elrod on November 10, 1885. Laura was born January 26, 1855 to Hardin Elrod and Temperance Bradshaw. Laura died January 11, 1934. Samuel and Laura had the following children:
William F. Harris – 1880-1954
Dasia Harris - 1882
Ida L. Harris – 1886-1934
Ollie May Harris – 1889-1915
Nettie Harris - 1892
I found census records for 1910 and 1920 for the Lewis Fork Township of Wilkes County. I found a census record for 1860 for the Lower Division of Wilkes County containing a Samuel Harris approximately the right age.
Ollie May was my great-great-grandmother and married Junious Roby West.
