I'm interested in finding out if anyone has info about James D. Wiggins (b 1826 in NC, d. after 29 Oct 1850 Wayne Co.) I have made a good connection, I believe, with the McCullough side of the family, but James info is a mystery. His son William Charles Robert Wiggins was described as having a dark complexion with black hair and black eyes. Possible native blood? Any info about James's father and family and/or where in North Carolina he came from? If you have info about McCullough that would be appreciated too. James is my g-g-grandfather. I have his dimple on the tip of my nose too.
