Looking for information on Nickens family, particularly Sheroden, sometimes spelled Sheriden, married to Laura A. Burton. I have a birth date for Sheroden as About 1844 in Goldsboro, NC, no death date. and Laura A. Burton was born April 25, 1845 and died After 1910 in Goldsboro,
I think Sheroden's mom was Margaret Nickens b. about 1809. I don't who the father was. Many brick walls, hopefully there are some answers.
