Looking for info on my father's family.
my Dad was Rev. Charlie David Wiley Sullivan born 1916 in Avery co. NC
His parents were Wiley David (Grome) Sullivan born abt. 1887 and Brady Davis born feb. 1896. Wiley and Brady married apr. 6 1912 in Watauga Co
Wiley parents were John Sullivan and Mary Rector.
Brady parents were Wastil ( spelled many different ways, "Watsel / Waightsill " )
and mother was something close to Eula Vera ( my aunt; Ivey Davis Ward, before she died tried to tell me her mothers name, but I had a hard time understanding her).
Brady had a half sister named Cathrine who married Wesley Ward, Cathrine is my mothers grandma. I don't know the mother of Cathrine but am told she was a Cherokee Indian.
Any help would be helpful for this is all the info I have.
