William D. Cooper was born in Williamston, NC. in 1853, he married Alice Virginia Woodley, born in Hertford, NC. in 1859. They had three children as far as I know, there my have been more. Leland Antone Cooper(my father)born in Roper,NC. on Dec.15,1892. Beulah Mae Cooper,born in Roper,NC.on June 1,1894. Adrian Darcy Cooper,born in Roper,NC. on July 8,1897. All of them moved to Norfolk, VA., but I don't know when. Leland A. moved to Alexandria, VA. He had three or four sons that I know of, not counting me. I carry his last name because he is was my father, but never married my mother. My name is Cecil Cooper, born in Washington, DC. on Aug.21, 1944. The other boy's names where, Leland A. jr., Bruce and Wesley.If anyone knows anything about these people, please contact me.
