Trying to determine the relationship if any exists among the 10 Davis men on the 1783 tax list.
My ancestor is Thomas Davis. Although he had 3 sons NONE of them was old enough to have been taxed in 1783. How are the remaining men related?
There was a Nathaniel Davis who died in 1781 and named a brother Robert in his Will. I assume that the Robert on the list is his brother.
