Seeking biographical and genealogical info (especially parents of) & birth / death dates & locations) on Charles N. Davenport, who served with the 20th NC Infantry (CSA) in the Civil War. He later joined the 1st Reg. US Vol. Infantry. In the 1850 Washington Co., NC Census he was living with his mother Mary (maiden name unknown). Any help is appreciated.
