Hooker family in Washington Co., NC -does anyone have early county records acces

I know that this county was passed into TN c. the 1790s - I also know that after it became TN some Hookers from VA moved there (were on the 1830 census there)

. I am looking for any Hooker family living in Washington Co, NC at or prior to the time it passed into TN.

Does anyone out there have access to early NC records from that county?? I know soem are held inthe TN archives but wonder if any are available on-line or elsewhere.
