DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE DEATH OF "LITE" G. MELVIN?

This is the story behind my friend Gregory Melvin, better know to all as "Lite"

I met Lite when I lived in Harlem. He lived in NYC, was from Raleigh North Carolina and had ties to NJ and Florida. I had moved from NYC and just discovered on Mother's Day that Lite has been dead for 2 years. He was only 26 when he died on Oct 16, 2002. The only things that I have been able to find out is that he died in Essex county NJ and was buried in Raleigh, but I can't find anything on why or how he died at the age of 26. Needless to say, I am devastated by the death and feel terrible that no one told me for 2 years and I had to find out by chance instead.

If anyone knows anything please post here or if you prefer to be private, please feel free to email me at jasmaniandevil522@hotmail.com.
