HELLO MY GGGGGRANDMOTHER WAS NANCY MAYNARD THROUGH HER DAUGHTER EMALINE MAYNARD WHO MARRIED THE BROTHER OF DAVID SCOTT WHO LIVED WITH NANCY MAYNARD THEY LIVED IN SCOTTS GULF IN WHITE COUNTY TENNESEE IF U TYPE IN SCOTTS GULF ON SEARCH U WILL FIND INFO ON IT IT WAS SETTLED IN 1795 BY A MR WELSH MR DAVIS AND MICAJAH SCOTT....I HAVE SOME LEADS ON THE MAYNARDS BUT HAVE NOT HAD TIME TO GO THROUGH THEM I AM DOING ALOT OF SEARCH AND WILL GO BACK OVER TO SCOTTS GULF SOON AND DO SOME MORE THEIR IS A DISTANT COUSIN SAM MAYNARD THAT STILL LIVES IN SCOTTS GULF AREA THAT ALSO HAS INFO ON NANCY AND HER DESCENDANTS AS WITH THE SCOTTS THEY R SOMETIMES LISTED IN CENSUS RECORDS AS BLACK MULATTO THE SCOTTS R LISTED AS INDIAN AND SOMETIMES BLACK AND MULATTO ALSO I HAVE INFO TO BELIEVE THAT THE SCOTTS AND MAYNARDS R MELUNGEONS IF U SEARCH THE MELUNGEONS U WILL SEE WHY AND AS WITH ALL MELUGEONS THEY R ALWAYS LISTED AS BLACK DUTCH BLACK MULATTO OR INDIAN I WILL GIVE MORE INFO WHEN I FIND IT AND GET MORE MY EMAIL ADDRESS IS LAIRGAMAR@MSN.COM THANKS BETTY RAINWATER
