Fantastic to know someone out there has information on my enigmatic John Ezell. Did you find a public record for this or is it from family information? The only thing I could find in a book of Wake Co., NC marriages said John Ezell and the bride's name was unreadable.

I have Asenath as John's second wife, the first being Jane Felts. I also have John and Asenath Ezell as the parents of Burd Ezell, who was born about 1799, migrated to Kentucky, and helped found the commnity of Coldwater in Calloway County.

I've got a good deal of information prior to John Ezell and since him, but as he moved around a bit, he's been the thorn.

Would love to hear from you further and would be happy to share information.
