Try Johnston Co, NC, also. There is a Wimberley family there pre-1800. I found a listing for a Williamson Earp who md. Phereby Wimberley and a listing for Izariah/Isaiah Earp who md. her widowed mother, Charity. I am not descended from the Wimberleys but from the Earps, although I am not sure of my Earps relationship to Williamson and Izariah.
