Franks/Penny in Wake, NC to Hardin, TN

Hello
I am looking for information on the following Franks:

Franks, Lewis m Penny, Elizabeth Oct. 20, 1835 Wake County, NC

North Carolina Marriage Bonds, 1741-1868
Bride: Eliza Franks
Groom: Isaac Penny
Bond Date: 25 Dec 1829
County: Wake
Record #: 02 394
Bondsman: Michael Peny
Witness: B S King
Bond #: 000156680

I am trying to determine if both of these families left Wake county, NC and moved to Hardin county, TN around
1840 or later. I have found an Isaac Penny in Hardin county as early as 1840. He is listed in 1850 Hardin county
census but without a wife. I have found a Lewis Franks in the 1850 and 1870 Hardin county census so far.
According to census he was born about 1815 in NC. Census shows a Margaret as wife. In later Hardin county
census I have found Isaac Penny's son named his first child Lewis. I am hoping to find a connection between the
Wake county Pennys and Franks to the Hardin county families. Any information is appreciated.

Sincerely
Phyllis Rea
