A William NICHOLS signed with an "X" as a witness to the will of John COLE, Sr. in Wake Co., proven in 1806. John Cole's wife was Elizabeth. Could she have been a Nichols? Any help appreciated.John Cole was associated with the Marks Creek area. Arlina
