My family tree records show that the father of Dr. Henry Buchanan Lloyd was Stephen Lloyd II the son of Stephen Lloyd I.
I descend from Stephen Lloyd I from two ways.

My paternal Grandfather was William Carey Lloyd son of Lycurgus Lloyd and Cornelia Ada Lloyd. Lycurgus was son of Henry Buchanan Lloyd & Elizabeth Booker. Henry B. Lloyd was son of Stephen Lloyd II & Mary Edwards. Stephen Lloyd II was son of Stephen Lloyd I & and Martha Morris. Stephen Lloyd I was son of Major General Thomas Lloyd.

My Great Grandmother Cornelia Ada Lloyd was daughter of Atlas Seaborn Lloyd & Mary Jane Quakenbush. Atlas was son of Thomas Major Lloyd & Sara Durham. Thomas Major Lloyd was son of Thomas (Tracy Tom) Lloyd & Delilah Edwards. Thomas (Tracy Tom) was son of Stephen Lloyd I & and Martha Morris. Stephen Lloyd I was son of Major General Thomas Lloyd.
In addition to other sources my Grandfather Carey and Great Grandmother Ada personally told me of the family descendant lines from Stephen Lloyd I.
Unfortunately for my research, I never inquired where Henry B Lloyd got his medical training or why he was 39 years old when he married Elizabeth. All of my valuable personal resources are now desceased. Dr. Henry B lived with my Great Grandparents Lycurgus and Ada in his later years. His medical trunk with his books was stolen from their home place in 1970. I have lots of questions about him. Was he previously married? Where was he living between 1820 and 1847?
Thanks for your reply.
