Lisa: Thanks for the Archive checking. You mentioned the guardianship records for the children. Did it mention all the children? We only have a record of the Suggs guardianship of Robert, the youngest boy. Timothy and Jesse were supposed to be "given" to their uncle, Christopher, but we have no proof that this guardianship actually happened. And there isn't any record of a daughter that some say was named Elizabeth. Did the Archive guardianships mention these children? Some family records say a Robert Brown was given guardianship of Robert and Elizabeth but this might have occurred after he married the widow, Rebecca Nutt Orr.
I'll try to use the Archive site...do I access it from the USGenWeb site or ?
