A relative has old family records showing payments at stores in Swift Creek area of Southwest Wake from 1804 to 1860s. Hundred of surnames mentioned. I will post them for researchers:

1804, Jan. 13. Indenture from Nathaniel Jones, M.C. to Jesse? Jont, planter

1804, July 7. Book S, p.193 recorded legal document. Thomas Jents.

1818. Ledger with names Joseph, Thomas S. Edwards and a James

1818. Taxes paid by Jos. Edwards to R. Holland. 96 cents.

1820, Feb. 8. Joseph Edwards note to John Dodd, witnessed by Tho Thapp?

1821, Feb. Matthew Shaw, Sr., Joseph Edwards, for Thompson.

1821, May 22. Wm. Hill creditor, Joseph Edwards debtor.

1821, Aug 9. John Whithaus, paid in full for all demands I have against Joseph Edwards.

1822, Apr. 4. Rec'd of Jos. Edwards by Lyse Williams for R. Smith

1822, Apr. 4. Rec'd of Jos. Edwards by Thomas Shaw for Matthew Shaw.
