Penny Broome McKenzie
I read your message posted in 2006 re Charles Broom's parents etc. I too am looking for his parents as one of his descendants, Walter Furman Broom III, was a participant in a DNA project, as I was, and he could only name back to Charles Broom born 1730 d: 1776 in Fairfield Cty NC. We and 3 other Broom/Broome descendants had identical DNA results for 25 markers. In essence, we had a common ancestor prior to Charles Broom. We would like to know who that is. If since your request, your research has confirmed something, I would appreciate it you could share with me. I have quite a bit of info on other Broom's that were kin to Charles if you have interest.
J.C. Broome Thanks
