LILES ARNOLD HORTON

I'm trying to identify the Mary Arnold (b. 1815-20) who was the 2nd wife of James W. Liles (b. 1819). They married between 1865 and 1870. Before that Mary Arnold lived alone in 1870, and with Littleberry Horton and family in 1860, making me wonder if she could be a Horton sister or other relative. Wake marriage bonds has a George M. Arnold marrying a Mary Horton on 30 Apr 1840, but I can't find either George or Mary in 1850. And I don't know for sure if this Mary Arnold was ever married at all (she is NOT the Mary Arnold who married William Rhodes in 1810). If Arnold was her maiden name, then who were her parents? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.
