I am looking for any information on my Great Great Grandma Mary Garrett. She is listed in the 1880-Franklin Cty NC - Hayesville Page 521D
Mary PENDERGRASS - White 45 B:NC (Listed as single)
Melissa - Niece 19 B:NC
Raleigh - Son 8 B:NC (1872)
On my Great Grandpa Raleigh Pendergrass's death certificate it is listed as :
Ben Pendergrass / father
Mary Garrett / mother
Raliegh Married Catharine Dickerson this is what's on their marriage certificate.
Marriage Certificate:
October 17 1900 applied to Geo.W Abbott for license for marraige
Raleigh Pendergrass of Warren County age 24 color (white) son of Jas Pendergrass Mother Mary Pendergrass (both now dead) resident of Warren County and Catharine Dickerson of Warren County age 22 color(White) daughter of Lewis Dickerson and Lethea Dickerson both (living) resident of Warren County . Register of Deeds M.F. Thomson Witness B. Thomson
I'm having a hard time finding Ralieghs father. Marriage bond lists his father's name as Jas Pendergrass......and death certifcate lists his fathers name as Ben Pendergrass.
If anyone can help me on this family line of Mary Garrett and Jas Ben Pendergrass I would very much appreciate it......Very willing to share all the info that I have found.
