My father was Gordon Wells Deese. His father's name is the above subject. He was born in Union County, NC. No birth certificate in Monroe, NC. He was married to Annie Wells of Pender County. The story is that he left her, my grandmother, for a student. He was a college professor.
I would appreciate very much any information out there about the Deese family. I am a junior. My father dropped the "e" on the end of his name.
