Thank you Ann, that would be she. Born 12/20/1822, she would have been around 48 at the time of the census. Although there was a marriage license taken out for Micajah and Elizabeth on 10/5/1864, the portion to be returned for filing is not in the files, therefore the marriage was not offically recorded.John Aycock is her son, he married Margaret A. Irby on 12/8/1867, one wonders why Elizabeth is not listed as his mother, must be a bit of a story there? Elizabeth is buried in the Macedonia Church Cemetery on Stack Road, Union County, NC, where her gravestone has her as Eliza Ann Aycoth, died 12/14/1894 at 72 yrs 11mo and 24 days of age.
