Nathan Hooker will dated 1801 Tyrrell County, NC

I'm looking for "proof" that Nathan Hooker (d.1801) was the Nathan Hooker who served in the Revolution. My Nathan had two first cousins close in age also named Nathan.
If I could find a marriage record for Nathan and Elizabeth - that would confirm his being old enough to have served.
If I could find a deed in Tyrell County noting Nathan and Elizabeth between 1776 and 1786. I've looked in the three printed indexes of Deeds for Tyrrell County- no Nathan AND Elizabeth.
