Recently visited the Confederate Museum in Greenville,SC for the first time. I know there are a lot of connections between Transylvania County and upstate South Carolina. They have a huge collection of artifacts but also a great deal of information, records, photos, letters, and more and a seperate library for research. The museum is run by SCV Camp 36 and the staff I met was very friendly.http://www.confederatemuseum.org/
