Looking for information on John Thomas Fisher Civl War veteran buried at Lake Toxaway. From what I have found so far the official record says he died at Rock Island Illinois a Federal war prison. His grave marker has 647 on it and this agrees with the Rock Island website which also states he was moved at some point. Was wondering when he was moved to Lake Toxaway and any other info on his war service.
