Riggans of Dobson area

I am looking for records, marriage certiciate, death certificate for Jane and/or Tyre Riggins of the Dobson area. Census records indicate this couple found themselves in what use to be the County Home of Dobson, which from what I have heard is now a drug rehab center, in 1900....both listed as paupers. Among other children, they had two daughters, Lucy Lavora and Mary Elizabeth that had to leave them and move to Gladesboro, Va., to work as house domestics. The family they moved in with in Gladesboro were Ayers.

Is there by any chance still a family line of Riggins in the Dodson area? How would you go about tracking these two girls down? If they were taken away from the family because of poverty, would there be records to that affect any where in the Surry County seat?

Thanks for your help, Frank
