Hi Cindy:

Again many thanks hon. At this point, I have no idea how this marriage fits into Thomas AYRES family. I want you to know, every little bit helps, in solving how these families are related to the LEWIS family. Question. Who were the Lewis families in SW corner of Patrick Co. & Surry Co.in the 1780's & 1790's?? What Lewis families did they sell or buy land from?? My Ayres family might have been Quaker by religion?? It's
possible they were Native American also or related to a Lewis family with Native American Ancestry. The family and I, want you to know ahead of time how much we thank you and appreciate your help, on this family history project.

Jim
